Lawn Tool Hub exists because buying a lawn edger should not require an afternoon of research, and unclogging a spreader should not require watching a fourteen-minute video to find a thirty-second answer.
We cover the equipment that actually lives in a suburban shed: edgers, core aerators, dethatchers, spreaders, sweepers and blowers. For each one we care about the practical variables — how heavy it is once the battery is in, how deep it really cuts, what breaks first, and how many hours a year it will ask of you.
Our guides are written by people who edge their own driveways, jam their own aerators in clay, and have ruined at least one bag of fertilizer by leaving it in the hopper overnight.
How we approach a guide
The answer goes first
Every guide opens with a short answer box. If that's all you needed, you can close the tab — we'd rather be useful than sticky.
Specs that mean something
Bare-tool weight versus weight with a battery. Blade depth, not blade diameter. Maintenance tasks per season, not vague claims about reliability.
Myths get named
A lot of lawn advice is inherited from tools that stopped being sold twenty years ago. When something is repeated and wrong, we say so directly.
No sponsored verdicts
Nobody pays for a recommendation here. If a category has no good option, the guide says the category has no good option.
Corrections
Specs change and manufacturers revise tools mid-generation. If something here is out of date or plainly wrong, tell us and we will fix it and note the change.
